Raman spectroscopy is a non-destructive optical analysis technique that delivers detailed information about the chemical structure of a large variety of samples.
omt’s industrial Raman microscope was developed in collaboration with WITec GmbH (Ulm, Germany) to transfer our combined know-how for high sophisticated research environments (WITec) to the rigid requirements necessary for production facilities (omt). The microscope can be combined with any number of our optical tools in our product portfolio for a complete factory solution which includes automation (ie. protocol support of SECS/GEM, Profibus, etc). In addition to employment in the thin film photovoltaic industry, Raman applications can be extended to the monitoring of chemical components and contaminants during pharmaceutical production as well as to controlling coatings on thin films for the polymer industry.
